Charles Werner is the retired Charlottesville fire chief and 46 year public safety veteran. After retirement served two years as Senior Advisor and Acting Director for the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. Presently serves as Director-DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Alliance, appointed by Virginia Governor Northam to serve as the Chair of the Secure & Resilient Commonwealth Public Safety UAS Sub Panel and serves on the Virginia CIT Unmanned Systems Advisory Board.
